"B" is for...

Evie's imagination continues to grow, and she "pretends" all the time. One of her favorite things to do is pretend she's holding something in her hand - Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell, a jewel, a bug.

Early this morning, Evie woke up and called to me from her room. As I lead her to my bed, she kept her hand cupped around something. When we reached my room she held her hand out and said "Here, Mommy." I opened my palm so she could deposit her imaginary treasure.

But she wiped a few grains of sticky stuff onto my hand. Uh-oh. I said "What is this?" and Evie nonchalantly replied "Boogers!"

Motherhood continues to be full of surprises.

Blech!

Isn't it amazing how much of this parenting thing is about boogers? I was trying to tidy up Iain at the grocery yesterday. Charles said, "Iain, your mother is picking your nose in public. Again."

?? What'm I supposed to do?

Can't wait for him to hand them to me. That'll be progress.

Sarah! Spring break book club - credit Heather with the idea. She's posted her reading, I've posted mine...all we need is a bunch of friends to join in.

We could put up reviews, if you wanted. Since I have really bad luck with fiction, this would be a chance to get good ideas from other folks.
