It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I just spent the evening with 600 other women at church, preparing our hearts for the Christmas season. It was a night of phenomenal music, great conversation, Jesus, and cheesecake. Enough said.

I'm most certainly in the Christmas spirit. And so is our home. The lights are on outside, the tree is up, and the banister and mantle are decorated with evergreen and red ribbon.

Each night Evie and I walk down the driveway, hand in hand. Luckily, she hasn't yet caught on that Daddy stays behind in the garage. We get to the end of the driveway and turn to face our house. Evie yells "Christmas!" and out lights come on! Even though I know Chris is making it happen, it's still magic.

Yes, this really is the "most wonderful time of the year."
