Today marked a momentous occasion in our household. My baby moved into her very own Big Girl Bed.
Evie was a little hesitant at first, but she did lay down for awhile and read books in her new bed this afternoon. She now points to the bed and says "Mine!" She's comfortable letting her entourage rest on the bed, so she's warming up. We'll see what the next few nights hold!

The room is adorable! But that is such a big step for a child--moving into the big bed. My nephew would only do it when he was given John Deere sheets for his big boy bed (he's a tractor nut). It's interesting to see what each child's need is for them to feel safe in "the BIG bed" (which really isn't so big--have they ever seen a king-size bed?!). :)

I cried when my littlest chickie moved into a big girl bed. She seemed so teeny tiny laying there. I think it took me a week to quit crying every time I tucked her in! They grow soooo fast!
