The Best Bloggy Friends Ever

When I started blogging, I just wanted a record of my days with Evie. Chris' mom kept journals throughout her life, and it was so special to read them after she passed away.

But blogging has become so much more for me, and it's because of all of you. You've lifted my spirits, encouraged me, and sang my praises when I needed it most. You've made me a better friend and a better mother and a better writer. I've gained lots of wisdom and the courage to completely be myself. I've been so fortunate to stumble upon this community.

Before my doctor appointment today, I read your words and prayers. Thank you.

The procedure went well. It hurt a lot more than I expected, but I feel fine now. Everything is still on track in IVF-Land. I'm tired and emotionally spent, so I'm signing off tonight.

One thing before I go - tomorrow I plan to record Evie's first-ever interview and post it on my blog. What would you like me to ask her? I hope you help me come up with some fun questions!

I am so happy to hear the procedure went well and your doing fine. the interview will be so much fun. Ask Evie, what she loves about mommy?

Yeah! You: puking. Me: giggling and eating cheese puffs. There's only one scenario in which I'm not a total jerk, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for that scenario...

Meanwhile, let me say this: I read a lot of blogs. On lots of topics (food, academia, Indian and Pakistani politics, Parisian art). Not everyone gets the kind of sweet, supportive comments you get.

So I think you should factor yourself into the positive experience you're having with blogging. It's not just about the bloggers (though they're awesome). It's also about *you* and the fact that you make them feel good and say nice things. So pat yourself on the back, too.

Do you want a sister or brother?
What is your favorite outfit?
What is your favorite color?
What is your favorite thing to do with your Mommy?
What do you want to be when you grow up?

And I'm glad it went well Sarah. HUGS to you. I'm sorry I am just now getting caught up with your blog. It's been crazy and I feel bad that I've gotten behind.

Much love!

I wish you the best with the procedure. A good friend of mine had IVF twice and was successful. I wish you the same.

Also check out the Graco blog if you can. There are 2 women contributing on there with succesful IVF stories.

I'm praying for you!

What is Mommy's favorite food?
What is your favorite TV show?
What do you and Daddy like to do together?
What does Mommy call you (nickname)?
What do you do at a birthday party?
Where does God live?

That's a great idea! All the cool questions were taken! What's her favorite thing to eat?

answer your question...
No reason in particular. I just wanted to get it to haveit. It was really simple and only $10/year.

Let me know if you need some help!
