Tums

When I was pregnant with Ethan, I had a lot of heartburn. It's the most annoying thing to have heartburn after you eat a bowl of cereal or an apple. But I had it, and I took a lot of Tums.

Evie is obsessed with Tums now. I even took an empty container and filled it with candy Spree, so she would be able to "pretend" to have heartburn. (I know, we are just crazy in this house!)

It's still not enough. She wants the real thing, and will do just about anything to get it.

Evie: I can't wait to get married.
Me: Really? That's a long time away.
Evie: But then I will be able to reach the Tums when I need them.

Evie: When I have a baby, I'm not going to the hospital.
Me: Oh, no?
Evie: No. I will just stay home and take some Tums.

If only we could solve our problems with antacids, the world would be a much easier place...

You sure can't argue with logic like that! Sweetie, the baby is just precious. Congratulations on your new little guy. Sis looks very proud of the new addition.

Have the best weekend enjoying your blessings!!! :o)

The other day she told me she wanted some "real" TUMS rather than the pretend kind. I told her no.

I think I had an obsession with baby aspirin at one point. There's something about those chalky candies that still wins with me.

Could you try giving her Smarties, since they look more like Tums?

Fiona - I remember having the same obsession with baby aspirin! How funny! I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
